After a year of numerous health problems, on Jan. 26, 2023, I knew I had to quit being selfish and let my beloved best friend go. It was the hardest decision that I've ever had to make. We'd been together almost 24/7 for 15 1/2 years.
I had found Loyal Companion online when Bandy first started having problems. After reading the testimonials, I knew that was where I was taking my precious boy when the time came.
I called them and made an appt. for that day. From the time we walked in, until I got his ashes back the next day, everyone was so very caring, kind, supportive and compassionate.
We met Kristin Hart whom asked us to tell her all about our boy. She listened and seemed genuinely interested in everything we told her. She wrote it all down and wrote a very nice tribute about him. When we went to leave, imagine my surprise, to see my beloved boy laid out with his favorite blanket tucked around him. So that we could say our final goodbyes to him. A private viewing. How nice!
When we picked up Bandy's ashes the next day, we met one of the owners Kristin Newman. She was very nice, too. And took the time to answer some questions that I had.
When I had difficulty uploading a lot of photos to Bandy's tribute wall, I called and talked to Sara, whom was kind enough to upload all of them for me.
A week after our loss, we received a beautiful card from Kristin Hart, and the Loyal Companion family. Among heartfelt words, she mentioned how much she enjoyed hearing about our memories of our precious baby and enclosed a forever picture of him.
These people are so very kind and they all make the traumatic experience of losing a beloved pet, a little bit easier. I highly recommend them! They're amazing! Thank you to everyone at Loyal Companion for everything that you did for us. You're the absolute best!!
