C. Michael "Mike" Newman has been a licensed funeral director for more than 25 years. He served two terms as President of the Cremation Association of North Carolina, an association dedicated to maintaining high standards for the funeral and cremation industry. He has been a Certified Crematory Operator for more than 10 years.
Kristin K. Newman grew up in Lancaster, PA and obtained a BS degree in Elementary Education before receiving her AAS in embalming and funeral service. Integrating both her education and funeral service degrees, she is able to meet needs on both personal and professional levels. In addition to their sons, the Newmans are rescue pet-parents of two cats and their sweet boxer, Bella.
Pet Care Specialist
Sara enjoys her position at Loyal Companion helping families and their beloved pets. She enjoys volunteering around the community and at humane societies, helping find animals their furever homes. Sara also plans on continuing her education at Carroll County Community College as a Psych major. Aside from Loyal Companion, she has a "Creative Essentials" business in which she makes shower/bath products. Recently, Sara lost her furbaby, Benny, who will forever be in her heart and at home, she has a three legged rescued kitty cat.
Pet Care Specialist
Kristin works part time at Loyal Companion. She is a graduate of Ohio University, where she earned her bachelors in Journalism. Along with her husband, DJ, she is a mom to two teenage sons and one mixed breed rescue dog, Cookie.
Certified Crematory Operator
Jeff is retired from the Hanover Borough Fire Department after 35 years of service and is identifiable through his work with Medic 46. He is now retired after 25 years from Hanover Hospital as Captain of the Advanced Life Support Operations. He has enjoyed animals all of his life and currently is the pet parent of three cats, Fluffy, Luna and Chance.
Pet Care Transportation Specialist
Jack retired from the Community College of Baltimore County as the Director of the Veterinary Technology Program. Currently, Jack is a certified veterinary technician in Pennsylvania and enjoys having "A Healing Touch" animal practice. He has one retired greyhound named Kayla, who is five.
