Our thoughts go to the Lauchman family on the death of Lady, their 18 year old Dachshund.  Left at a truckstop with her 5 other littermates, 4 survived and made a trip to Spring Grove. Our thoughts are with David and Ann Simmons in the death of the beloved cat, Calvin.  Adopted into their family with his brother, Hobbs, from a vet in Colorado, these boys were of comfort in their "boy antics" following the deployment of their sons to Iraq.  Ann needed to be able to nurture and care for brothers and the blessings that resulted from their adoption were many.  Calvin was always a bit of a bully, with even the family's golden retrievers being scared...

Our thoughts go out to the Riley family, Charles, Roberta and Charles Junior on the death of their beloved cat Hershey.  Sweet Hershey and her brother Skittles were born under a shed and discovered at one month of age by Charles Junior upon arriving home from the fair.  The mother cat had three kittens and took one with her when she disappeared leaving Hershey and Skittles to find their forever home with the Rileys who had to bottle feed these poor, tiny kittens.  Hershey...
