Winfield Fulmer

Our thoughts go out to Linda and Tim Fulmer on the death of Winfield, their 17 year old cat.  The following tribute was written by the the Fulmers:

Winfield Scott Hancock Fulmer was born in January 2003 in Dixon, Ill.

Winfield "Winnie" was named after Winfield Scott Hancock a great Civil War General.  Winnie was very loving and was the first to meet visitors.  He had a supply of small soft toys that he would carry into our bedroom.  There would be mornings we would find 2 or 3 of these soft gifts in our bedroom.  He would always look for a warm lap to sit on.  In our house regardless of your family status you would have Winnie looking at your lap for possible use.  His "purr motor" would constantly be running and we would kid him he would wear it out.

In May of 2018 Winnie and his two brothers made a successful and quiet 900 mile trip to Hanover, PA.  Winnie will be missed by us and our family.  He has left us countless memories and we are glad to have had our time with him.
