Whiskey Peters

Our thoughts go out to the Peters family on the death of Whiskey, their beloved 12 year old Domestic Short Hair kitty. Named after her coloring of whiskey and white, like many other of the Peters' companions, started as a stray. She was indoor/outdoor being almost completely indoor for the past few years. Courage was her brother who had the same coloring, whiskey colored with 'courage' (spots) as they called it. When he passed, Whiskey finally ventured downstairs for the first time. She also adored doing chores with Dad. Whiskey was so talented she could jump onto his shoulders and drape like a stole. She really liked to do this when he did the dishes, swept, etc..anything up until vacuuming...then she was out! Whiskey even scared the house sitter to bits when she did it to him at first, thinking she was going to attack him! Once he figured out she just wanted to keep him company, all was well. Mark even shoveled paths for the kitties in the winter so they could go and venture as they pleased. When Trooper, their Boxer mix was still alive his short legs prevented him from going out in the snow so Mark would make a path for him and then the cats would follow in a line! So many adventures shared, Whiskey's love and companionship will be greatly missed.
