Our thoughts go to Teresa Tregaskes on the death of Troy, her nearly 9 year old Purebred Mutt. Troy's mother, Raven, was a foster pooch and she delivered while in the care of the Tregaskes. All of the puppies, except for one, were named with Pittsburgh Steelers or Pennsylvania influence. Troy was named for Troy Palamalu and therefore, being a fan, Teresa kept Troy. He was a snuggler and wanted to cuddle on any warm lap, for he did not know his size. He was a great runner and retrieved balls and was fantastic off leash. He was smart with commands and alert and protective. Referred to as trash pandas, he along with his canine brother, Zeus, could eat anything without getting sick. He could wag his tail with such force that it would hurt if it caught a leg. He loved and was a loyal to a fault and he will be terribly missed.
