Our thoughts go out to the Smith family on the death of Holly, their beloved 13 year old Yorkie/Chihuahua. Holly was the best Christmas eve present the Smith family could have asked for. Her love and companionship will be greatly missed. The following is Crystal Smith's tribute for her:
Holly was a wonderful dog. She lived a long and happy 13 years. Holly was a mix breed between a yorkshire terrier and a Chihuahua. She loved to go on walks and rides. When she was about a year old, we tried walking her without a leash and she would always stay by our side. Whenever someone in the family came home, she would let everyone know by her bark. For a little dog, she had one of the loudest barks! Another fun memory we have of Holly is when she ate my homework, I'm sure everyone has heard the saying,"My dog ate my homework", well Holly actually did. One day I was doing my homework and my family and I went to get some dinner and when we came back, my math book was all chewed up. She would also love jumping on the furniture, where your head would be and smile.Holly is no longer with us, but we will never forget her.
