Echo Wirtz

Our thoughts go out to Karen and Tyler Wirtz and Robbie DeMoss on the death of Echo their beloved Pug.  Echo was the loving mother of Onyx and was the daughter of Uno and the grand daughter of Aly...4 generations of Pugs owned by the Pug enthusiast Wirtz family.  Echo was almost cat like in that she could climb and liked to be high up especially on top of the rocking chair or the window sill sunning herself.  Echo preferred to be carried like a baby with her head nuzzled into her owner's neck.  Territorial Echo liked to keep a close watch on the house and loved to run the fence line.  Food was a huge motivator for Echo with bacon being her favorite morsel.  Echo will forever be remembered as a hero for saving the family and their guests from the dangers of a gas leak from a stove top that was accidentally left on.   Echo had lots of brains and was the only Pug who was smart enough to use the kitchen vent to cool herself.  Echo had a great love for Karen and Tyler but also really enjoyed when Robbie, who was affectionately known as Bubby, spent time at the Wirtz household.  Dear Echo will be forever loved and missed.
