Ebony Houck

Our thoughts go to Candace, Dan, Dakotah, Dahltyn, and Devyn Houck on the death of Ebony, their 8 year old Labrador Retriever.  When sweet Ebony was 6 months of age the Houck family rescued her from an abusive situation.  She was a bit skittish from a rough start in life, but with the Houck's love and patience she blossomed.  Running, swimming, playing ball and snuggling were Ebony's specialties.  She always knew when her owners were about to arrive home and she would pleasantly greet them at the door.  Basically she was most content when surrounded by her family.  Ebony was especially gentle with Rufus the Yorkshire Terrier and also enjoyed hanging out with Jasmine the cat.  She wasn't super fond of Jasper, but Jasper is a bit of a loner kitty so that was to be expected.  Ebony was a very loved family member and she will be missed.
