Cinder Bankert

Our thoughts go out to the Bankert family on the death of Cinder, their beloved 10 year old Mini Lop. Cinder came into the Bankert's life at the York Fair, brought in by Kimberly's Cuddly Critters to show with all of his siblings. Of course Cinder made his way over to Gloria and that was it- he had a furever home. He was a fully pedigreed lop that could very well have been shown..however he quickly became King of the house and that was good enough for him! Gloria's husband always said he didn't have a rabbit's personality, he had the personality of Garfield the Cat! Especially because he was so aloof all of the time. Cinder was a 'furry person' and he let it be known with his huge presence and personality. Cinder was addicted to sweets and loved his yogurt and papaya treats. He also had a healthy side though, where his favorite vegetable was by far kale! Cinder would even get into the fridge and scratch at the crisper drawer, having to get shooed away! Cinder was a wonderful addition to the Bankert family that will be dearly and greatly missed.
