Barney Elvis Brashears

Our thoughts go to Dustin and Denise Brown and Rob and Deb Brashears on the death of Barney, their beloved Maltese mix.  The following tribute was written by Denise:

Today we had to say goodbye to our very loyal family dog. He loved everyone who would have gave him a pat on his head or a scratch under his chin. He was not just a dog but he was a part of the family. He lived such a long life, would have been 13 in Sept. We will never have such a great companion like this guy right here. He's been there through our troubles, our laughs, our tears, and our smiles. If everyone will keep my family in their thoughts that would be greatly appreciated especially for Rob who had Barney before his late wife passed away. Losing Barney made him feel like he lost the rest of his heart. My children grew up with Barney and he never once bit them or harmed them in anyway. He was their protector and made it known that he hurt anyone who even made the girls squeal. He will forever be in all of our hearts and there will be no animal out there that will replace the love we have all had for Barney. RIP Barney Elvis Brashears. May you have a peaceful transition to your afterlife. Until we meet again my friend.
