Forever In Our Hearts

Our thoughts go to the Fake family on the death of Quincy, their 13 year old Spanish Water dog/Wirehaired Standard Dachshund mix.  Adopted into the family as a puppy, he got his name from the songwriter Quincy Jones.  He was a quiet dog, but was very protective of Denise.  His bark was mean sounding, but he was usually wagging his tail while he made noise...he was really kind of skiddish and would retreat to his crate if he was scared.  When he was younger, he was very bonded with his canine siblings and they would often cuddle together in one crate.  As he got older, he tolerated the new pets in the family.  He was gentle with all animals but rather sneaky when it came to stealing his canine sister Lucy's treats---often taking her uneaten treats and hidding them in his crate.  He liked to romp in the yard with the other dogs too.  He never begged, but he did like to eat chips, pretzels and cheese.  His sweet spirit and companionship will be missed.
