Forever In Our Hearts

Our thoughts go out to Christopher and Jennifer Hahn on the death of Lucki, their nearly 16 year old tabby cat.  The following is their tribute: "Lucki Hahn, nearly 16, of East Berlin, died peacefully with the company of her family and in the care of her vet.  She was the daughter of two farm cats and quickly caught the eye of three young girls. The girls loved and cared for her until they moved in the Fall of 2004. When the house the girls lived in was being signed over to the new owners, the girls parents told the new owners of the house about a nice little kitty that they had to leave behind. Within an hour of the new owners moving in, she won the heart of the man, now her adopted cat-dad. Though the woman was hesitant to adopt a pet, even before they moved in, she soon realized that this was Lucki’s home and this was where she belonged.  On November 24, 2004, just a few hours after moving in, she was officially adopted. Lucki got her name by surviving a health-scare with a tick bite. Her cat-dad thought the name to be appropriate.
Lucki lived a wonderful life. She enjoyed cat nip, naps, her parents and siblings, and of course, chasing the red dot. She loved company and made sure to always greet all who entered. She loved children, even once letting her cat-parent’s two year old nephew carry her around like a rag-doll. Surviving are her cat-parents, Chris and Jenn Hahn, her favorite sister and cuddle-buddy, Munchkin, her sisters Bella, Binka and Izzie, and brother Dozer.  She was preceded in death by her sister Fie-Fie, and her family members Cali, Bum, and Sox, all of East Berlin, and Odin, of Dover.   The family appreciates thoughts and prayers at this time.
