Our thoughts go out to Ursula & Stephen Picard on the death of Teddy, their beloved 12 year old Shih Tzu/Pug mix. Teddy was discovered at the Thomasville flea market by Ursula. She admired this sweet puppy and when he was still at the market the following week for a "marked down price" Ursula began to worry about what Teddy's future would hold so she brought him home and he became their "pet store rescue". Teddy loved food and nailed the art of begging, especially if it was fried chicken from Weis Market. When the Picards would arrive home affectionate Teddy could be found waiting on the porch to greet them and would hope for a treat. Teddy was always a good sport and tolerated the rough housing he got when in the company of Beau who was a good bit younger and spry. Teddy was by his loving owners side until his final day and Stephen is sad he missed out on the Thanksgiving feast he would normally enjoy. Teddy was a wonderful companion, he will be greatly missed.
