Snickers Young

Our thoughts go out to The Young family, Cheryl, Pete and Alex, on the death of their beloved tri-colored Teddy Guinea Pig Snickers.  Snickers was rescued by the family on March 11, 2017 and unbeknownst to the Youngs she was pregnant.  Shortly thereafter, on May 1st she gave birth to three healthy pups.  One of those pups, Doodle, remained Snicker's lifelong companion.  Snickers would joyfully scurry to the side of the cage at the sound of a crumbling bag, a refrigerator door opening or the words treat or cookie.  Green leaf lettuce, green pepper and celery were foods that Snickers enjoyed but her absolute favorite was oat hay.  Piggy tents and cardboard boxes were great fun.  Snickers will be remembered for being lovable, sweet, cuddly and calm.  RIP dear Snickers.
