Shiloh Watson Tribute

Our thoughts go out to Mary Jayne Watson on the death of Shiloh, her beloved almost 18 year old Seal Point Himalayan. Nicknamed her Muffin Man, Shiloh was quite the personality. He got that nickname by frequently jumping up onto the table and stealing Mary Jayne's muffins for breakfast! He even had certain flavors he preferred! Shiloh and his companion, brother Gabriel (a Blue Point Himalayan) were adopted from a friend Mary Jayne had met through working hospice. Unfortunately the patient passed away and his wife could not bare to keep these two handsome cats. Mary Jane swooped right in and has been a wonderful care taker to them ever since. Gabriel being older (20 years old), Mary Jayne definitely did not expect to have to say goodbye to Shiloh first, but fate chose otherwise. Shiloh was a super talkative boy who would let Mary Jayne know whenever he was displeased or needed something. The house is very quiet and somber without him, as his brother does not talk nearly as much. Mary Jayne always said "Shiloh was abundant with his comments and criticisms". As soon as she came home, most of the time she could hear the dog and then Shiloh, meowing to get her into the kitchen quicker and open him a fresh can of food! It was as if Mary Jayne could never go fast enough to please demanding Shiloh. He was a presence to say the very least..his personality and quirks will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever live on in Mary Jayne's heart. Rest in peace handsome boy, enjoy your treats!!
