Our thoughts go out to Rebecca Stott and Sasha Yelesin on the death of their beloved cat Sammy. Sammy was rescued as a kitten from the Carroll County Human Society when Rebecca was 7 years old. She spent a lot of time playing with the available kittens and when Sammy fell asleep in her arms she knew they would be a bonded pair. Sammy was kind, forgiving and affectionate. This angelic cat never hissed, bit or scratched and had no aggressive tendencies. She was happy to sit on Rebecca's lap. When she was feeling frisky she liked to bat, chew and lick paper and plastic or chase the lazer. Sammy was strickly an indoor cat. She once escaped to the great outdoors but the minute her paw touched grass she froze and headed right back into the safety of the house. Sammy was a very special friend to Rebecca and she will be missed beyond measure.
