Our thoughts go out to Steve and Debbie Lamb on the death of their beloved Bichon Frise, CH Lambichons Mihoski Haruka, more commonly known as Ruka. Ruka's official name is Japanese and means the spring flower is a shinning star which is so appropriate because Ruka truly was a shinning star, not just because she was a grand champion show dog but also because she was the apple of her daddy's eye. Ruka started her winning ways at age 6 months with her first victory in the best puppy in breed category. Debbie was her handler and the duo shared much success in the ring. She went on to obtain a national speciality title and gave birth to 5 litters and 19 puppies throughout her life. She had a mind of her own and possessed a great show attitude. In her down time Ruka enjoyed camping and chasing plastic bags. She was such a special part of the family and she will be forever missed, loved and remembered.
