Our thoughts go out to Jennifer and Sam Hill on the death of Pep, their Coonhound. Pep, also known as Peppermint, Pepper and Sam's other wife came to the family through a breeder in West Virginia. Pep was very devoted to Sam and was protective of him and a little jealous of Jennifer. Sam and Pep went on daily walks and Pep liked to wear Sam's hat and sunglasses. She was a skilled hunter and loved to take care of the possum situation in the barn. Pep would also chase the chickens but knew not to hurt them, just ruffle their feathers a bit. Pepper adored her canine pal Murphy even though their personalities were opposite. Pepper was so smart she would actually throw her own ball against the wall and create her own game of catch. Once Pepper ran away and was discovered 6 miles from home! She fell down a cliff, had quite an adventure and from that day forward Jennifer could only open the windows from the top. Pep was with the family through some hard times and was their rock. Her presence will be greatly missed.
