Our thoughts go to James Duke on the death of Paxton, his domestic medium hair. Rescued 7 years ago, James formed a special friendship with Paxton. She was an independent girl, who liked to find the sunshine on the floor and who waited for him at the top of the stairs to come home. She could be found climbing in the kitchen cupboards or relaxing on the back of the sofa. He called her "Pippin" for Pippy Longstocking because she had white socks on her feet and legs. In her younger years, she was playful and enjoyed lounging in the grass. She would talk and could meow a good conversation. She will be missed.
