Our thoughts go to the Homan family on the death of Parker, their nearly 7 year old boxer. Adopted as a puppy for Erin, he soon became Chad's shadow. He loved to sleep with Chad and lean up against him or plop his butt down close to him on the couch. He was an active sleeper; chasing and kicking visions in his dreams and barking at them as well. He loved his space and he may create that space halfway through a walk through the neighborhood, when he decided it was time to just be still and relax. He loved to play outside and was a good tugger with toys. He loved for his chin to be rubbed. The squirrels created entertainment when he chased them through the yard and he loved to bark from the picture window at everything that moved. He loved Chick-Fil-A Fridays when he was guaranteed some chicken and fries from everyone sitting at the table...and they knew that they would share everything that they ate with Parker. His spirited behavior always kept them on their toes and his rocketship circles always put a smile on their faces. His faithfulness and fun character will be missed.
