Nikita Minthorne

Our thoughts go out to Tia Minthorne, Brandon Varner and their children, Joshua and Neveah, on the death of Nikita, their almost 4 year old Rottweiler. Tia got Nikita as a puppy from a breeder in Newville she found on Facebook. Tia was interested in the breed and this would be her first Rottweiler. Sweet Nikita lived up to Tia’s expectations as she was a wonderful family dog, patient with children, protective and loving. Tia was pregnant with Neveah when she welcomed Nikita to the family and the two shared special bond. When baby Neveah would cry Nikita would fuss and join in. Nikita loved all food, but has an unusual appreciation for healthier fruits and vegetables including apples and broccoli. Playing ball brought Nikita a lot of joy. This beautiful dog will be missed by both her human and canine families which include fellow Rottweiler Nova and miniature dachshunds C.J. and Holly.
