Nikita Markle

Our thoughts go out to the Markle family on the death of Nikita, their beloved 12 year old German Shepherd. Adopted right after the Markle's got married, Nikita was their 'first child'. She was a tiny, fluffy thing at 8 weeks old when first brought home. After about one and a half years, her canine brother Duke was adopted as well at 12 weeks old. They were inseparable from the first day, bonded, best friends! Duke and Nikita did everything together, played and even on her last day he laid with her as they always did. Nikita was as sweet as could be and loved to lounge in her special spot in her bed. She loved her chicken jerky treats Dad found her and honestly was a total Daddy's girl! Nikita's favorite toy was a Kohl's $5 stuffed animal bumble bee! She would jump super high to get to him! He lasted about 3-4 years before having to be tossed due to being ratted with love. Nikita's love and companionship will be greatly missed, but she leaves behind many happy memories shared.
