Murphy Herl

Our thoughts go to Patrick Herl on the death of Murphy, his 9 year old Maine Coon.  Welcomed into the family as a kitten, he was bottled fed early on.  He was overly talkative to everyone with his deep howl meow.   He was extremely handsome and groomed himself well.  He liked to snuggle and purr and would crawl onto Patricks shoulders to rest.  At night, he would burrow under the covers.  He loved outside but also liked to chase things, so he learned to behave on a leash.  He was smart and would very "doggish" in his behavior---greeting at the door, playing with squeaky toys and sharing McDoubles without cheese.  He was not a cat to Patrick, he was a friend and they were always happy to see each other.  His love of catnip was second to his bond with Patrick and he will never be forgotten.
