Our thoughts go out to Jessica and Scott Murphy on the death of their beloved German Shorthaired Pointer Max. Max was adopted after Jessica saw on ad in The Merchandiser. He was one of 13 puppies and he selected Jessica. Jessica took this sweet puppy home without telling Scott. Max enjoyed the best life on the Murphy's 43 acre farm. He would go off on adventures but always return when called. Days were spent chasing cats, ducks and geese, hanging out in the barn and swimming in the pond. Max's very favorite activity was riding around Codorus in the pontoon boat. He loved to sit at the front while his ears whipped in the wind. Basically Max was the best dog, with the exception of the time he devoured a raspberry custard pie during a Father's Day gathering. Jessica and Scott will always lovingly remember their wild, wonderful and occasionally stubborn dog Max.
