Mattie Sowers

Our thoughts go out to Doris and Edward Sowers on the death of Mattie, their beloved almost 18 year old Long Haired Dachshund.   The Sowers were attracted to Mattie's white chest and tail and brought tiny Mattie home in Edwards pocket.  Mattie got along well with everyone, but Edward was her go to human.  She would insist upon sitting behind his seat in the truck and going on 2 mile hikes at Gettysburg Farm Campgrounds with her master.  Mattie loved to devour pizza and french fries and she adored playing with her stuffed bear that Molly gave her.  Mattie was a wonderful companion and will be greatly missed.
