Our thoughts go to the Thomas family on the death of Marley, their four year old Cane Corso/Mastiff. Adopted into the family at the age of one, she had lived in Baltimore city and they brought her to the country. They renamed her and gave her a whole different life, where she could run and play outside off leash and she thrived. She was very smart, once getting separated from them on a hike and she found her way back to the place where the car was parked. She loved to chase other animals but never caught any. She had a protective posture and bark, but she was a big baby that could find a square foot of unoccupied couch that she could lie in. She loved taking her hikes with Dan and "participating" in yoga with Heather. She gave affection with a hearty lean against them and enjoyed her belly rubs. She did enjoy eating and steaks were a sure favorite of hers. She wrestled with Hunter and Ryan and would give a playful growl when it was time to have some fun together. Their time together was much too short but was so full of fun and wonderful times together. She will never be forgotten.
