Lucky Dewees

Our thoughts go to Emily Dewees and her family on the death of Lucky, her nearly 16 year old domestic short hair.  Rescued as a kitten, he had been found by a groundskeeper after the lawn mower almost killed him...thus his name, Lucky.  He was an independent guy, who liked to be petted but not necessarily cuddled.  He had a good purr box and only meowed if he was hungry.  He enjoyed sunning on the back patio and could knock you over for some food.  Buddy would call him Stinky and he would come running. He also liked to run after the laser.  His sweet personality and constant companionship will be missed.
