Lily Abel

Our thoughts are with the Abel family in the death of their pomeranian, Lily.  Adopted by Jess and Sam following graduation, she was their first baby together. She was named because lillies are Jess' favorite flower.  She was high maintenance and a bit set in her ways.  She loved attention and would bark insistently to get it.  She loved to give kisses and was a bit jealous when Riley was born.  She did not care to play dress up with Riley but she learned to be patient.  She was a master at stealing food from a hand and often crept slowly and then stole quickly.  She was great at cleaning the floor after snacks or food had fallen and fabulous at squeaking the toys until their squeakers quit working. Once Riley cut her own bangs but then also decided to cut Lily's fur as well.  What special memories!  They will never forget their sweet, stubborn princess Lily.
