Kitcha Hafenmair

Our thoughts go out to Sarah Hafenmair and her family on the passing of Kitcha, their beloved 5 year old kitty. Kitcha's unique name was derived from the Polish term of endearment Keetcha which means cat or kitty and is used to convey affection and in Poland is a term such as baby or sweetheart. This special kitty was also referred to as "my little mommy." Kitcha literally walked into Sarah's life when she was a kitten and made herself right at home. The date was October 5, 2015 and Sarah was moving into her new home when Kitcha followed a family friend through the front door and made herself comfortable.  At the time Sarah was 6 months pregnant and Kitcha got her maternal instincts flowing and prepared her for motherhood.  When Sarah's son was born, Kitcha doted on him but she remained Sarah's sidekick. She was only with Sarah for 5 years but they were wonderful, memorable years. Kitcha will be missed greatly.
