Our thoughts go out to Jacquelyn Adams on the death of her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Toy Terrier and Shih Tzu mix Hermione Lucifer. Hermione has been faithfully by Jacquelyn's side since a month after her college graduation. Jacquelyn and her mother were visiting the Clearview Shopping Center pet store when Hermione was brought to Jacquelyn to hold. Hermione began chewing on Jacquelyn's braids, claiming her as her own and the very next day Jacquelyn returned to purchase this playful puppy. Jacquelyn was fond of old names so Hermione was chosen and the Lucifer was added due to the naughty and rambunctious nature of this adorable puppy. Jacquelyn and Hermione quickly became a bonded pair and enjoyed city life in New York and Seattle. This spirited puppy would hold her poop for as long as possible in order to prolong her walks. Hermione was unique and, despite the fact that Jacquelyn is a baker and attended culinary school, was not at all food motivated. The only people food Hermione liked was uncooked pasta, enjoying the satisfying crunch! Hermione was attracted to people more than other animals and especially enjoyed Grandma's company. Jacquelyn is heartbroken to say goodbye to such a special friend. The pair will always have an endurable connection that can not be denied.
