Guinness Gallagher

Our thoughts go out to Josephine and Richard Gallagher on the death of Guinness, their beloved 12 year old Cocker Spaniel. Guinness was adopted from a Cocker Spaniel rescue in Virginia, who intervened at the perfect time. Poor Guinness probably wouldn't have made it otherwise. Originally from Franklin County, Virginia..Guinness found his way to his forever home with the Gallaghers. He had a rough go at his first year of life with all sorts of infections, a broken leg, etc. That all turned around when the Gallghers took over his care. They got him all fixed up and even if his leg healed crooked that just made him what the vet called 'a bionic dog'. Guinness really was a trooper, staying strong and happy through all his ailments. He has been through two types of cancer, surgeries but his tail stayed wagging, always. Guinness always loved his treats and would happily gobble them up. In his younger days, the Gallaghers lived in the mountains and he loved adventuring out there in the woods. He would often dig holes if he saw or smelled something. After everything in his first year, Guinness was still quite the character through and through and he was quite adaptable too. His love and companionship will be greatly missed, but forever cherished. Rest in peace sweet Guinness.
