Guadelupe and Frieda Laughman Fisher

Our thoughts go out to Scott Fisher and Casandra Laughman on the death of their beloved doves Guadelupe and Frieda.  Because doves mate for life, Scott and Casandra adopted this pair together from Jocelyn's pet shop with a two for one special.  Scott had been visiting the doves at the store for some time and would talk and coo to them and it was decided they would be brought to their forever home so that they could stay together.  The house was never silent from that day in 2016 on.  Doves typically only live for 1-2 years but, due to the good care they recieved, they lived for at least 7 years!  This was a very vocal pair who would begin cooing at 4:30 a.m.!  Frieda was sweet but Guadelup could be a little intimidating so they were kept in seperate cages that remained side by side.  Frieda and Guadelupe's presence will be missed.
