Ginger Hurd

Our thoughts go out to Melissa Hurd on the death of Ginger, her faithful 13 year old Beagle.  Melissa got Ginger as a puppy while living in South Carolina.  Ginger was pregnant at the time and Melissa was informed there would be 15-21 puppies!  Thankfully there were 15, but that is still a lot and poor Ginger was suffering from heart worm at the time.  Melissa and Ginger have been though many highs and lows together and were bonded until the end.  Most recently they had been enjoying time together at Oak Side Park in Biglerville and Ginger was always able to make Melissa laugh.  Ginger could sometimes be a pain and when her nose hit the ground she could wander.  She was the hunting dog that was afraid of guns!  Ginger was a real character and Melissa will forever cherish their time together.
