Our thoughts go out to Dominic and Laura Vonella on the death of their beloved Pitbull and Labrador Retriever mix Dozer. Dozer was rescued at 6 weeks of age while Dominic was stationed in Alabama. When Dominic scooped up tiny Dozer he peed all over his new owner claiming him as his own. Dozer lived up to his name, he had a tender heart but nothing stood in his way. He was affectionately known as "Ferdinand the Bull." He loved to sit in the yard and smell the flowers. In his younger days, Dozer would frantically chase the lazer about the yard and play with tennis balls. At the sound of a siren the howling would commence, which was a bit unusual for a Pit/Lab mix. Dozer will be missed by his canine family, Lily the Golden Retriever, and Darcey, the Corgi/Basset Hound mix, even though Darcey sometimes would not let this gentle soul into the bed. RIP sweet Dozer. You will be forever loved and remembered.
