Our thoughts go out to the Vaughans family on the death of Diamond, their beloved 16 year old Miniature Pinscher. The Vaughans' daughter was searching for a small, but not delicate dog, and after a vet brought a Miniature Pinscher into the classroom a light bulb went off with the Vaughans. They quickly became Miniature Pinscher enthusiasts and were the proud owners of 3; Diamond, Ruby and Pearl. Diamond was found online and the family drove to the breeders in North Carolina to bring her to her fuever home. Diamond wasn't scared of anything, except Sara the Cockatoo. One morning the Vaughans returned home from church and puppy Diamond was nowhere to be found. A tiny bark was heard from the closet where Diamond was seeking shelter in her master's Army boot after being chased by Sara! With the exception of Sara, Diamond would take on anyone or anything!! When the three dogs went for a walk Diamond led the way. If a guest was visiting the Vaughans Diamond would insist they sit. She was a compact package of power and yet she was so comforting and a therapy dog to Debra, always by her side and loving having her silky coat stroked. Diamond may have been petite, but she was also larger than life! The Vaughans will forever cherish their priceless Diamond.
