Dexter Aumen

Our thoughts go out to Tom and Rose Aumen and Meghan Lawrence and family on the death of Dexter, their beloved 13 year old mixed terrier.  Dexter was selected and adopted by Meghan from the York SPCA at three years of age and he had the pleasure of spending the last 10 years with his devoted family.  Pointdexter, or Dexter for short, had all the great qualities one enjoys in a canine pal.   A lovable lap dog who would follow you through out the house, but also playful and fun.  Dexter was quite active and enjoyed being outdoors and chasing squirrels.  Dexter liked to look good and therefore enjoyed a nice haircut.  He was  irresistible afterwards as his fur was so soft!  Car rides were also a lovely way to pass the time.  Dexter always had a treat to look forward to when he came in from doing his business and he would run to the cabinet where they were stored.  Dexter will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
