Our thoughts go to the Smith family on the death of Dakota, their 4 year old Labrador Retriever. Adopted as a puppy, he followed his canine brother, Hershey, everywhere. When Hershey barked, Dakota barked, when Hershey drooled for food, Dakota looked with his tender eyes for a treat, and when Hershey pulled on the tug rope, Dakota pulled the other direction. Besides playing tug of war with Hershey, Dakota loved his stuffed toys and his rubber bone. He loved to ride in the car and to sun himself on the driveway. He did not know his size and preferred to snuggle in a lap. He was a special member of the family who will never be forgotten.
