Our thoughts go to the Peck family on the death of Caramel Cream, their 19 year old domestic short hair. The following is their tribute: "Caramel was adopted on April 15, 2003, from a litter where she had earned the nickname, Roam since she was the first of her siblings to get out of the box and lead them into trouble running around outside and climbing on anything. So, as a kitten, we would often find her on top of the curtain rods. She was also known to play a tune or two on the piano.
Throughout her early years when we would be letting her first dog sibling, Cisco, outside she would often sneak by and make a quick dash to climb the tree or run under the deck. This came to a screeching halt when we welcomed her second dog sibling, a Border Collie named, Jo-Joe Oreo, into our home. Jo-Joe took his herding duty seriously so her tree-climbing days were over.
Caramel loved her outside time. During her mature years, now on her third dog sibling, Gunner, she would calmly walk the sidewalk, stroll in the grass and roam to our neighbors yards. Even in her last hours of life, she took a stroll without minding the snow covering the grass. She was a shadow in the mornings and her routines will be missed including her persistence when wanting treats.
Caramel, youve watched Courtney and Kaitlyn grow up and bring into your home their fur-babies: Stella & Mocha, Luca, Luigi, Kahlua, and Kona. We all will miss you and your sweet snuggles."
