Our thoughts go to Tyler Frank on the death of Bunk, his nearly 14 year old Labrador Retriever. Adopted as a puppy, Tyler's nickname was once Bunk, so he used that for his new pup. Bunk was Tyler's first dog that he trained for duck and geese hunts. Tyler would say that Bunk trained him. Bunk was great at retrieving, sometimes diving 15-20 feet to get the fowl. His first attempt at Dock Jumping, Bunk jumped 25 feet. Tyler was soon approached to sell his dog and he flatly responded no. Bunk was extremely obedient and loyal--once he held 82 Pepperidge Farm goldfish crackers on his nose until Tyler gave him the command to eat them. He was always by his side and whined constantly if he was apart from Tyler---and goodness, if Tyler went hunting without him, he was so upset. He knew that glazed donuts came from 7-11 stores and he got them in the morning. Bunk was the alpha of the pack and sired one litter of 7 puppies. His fierce and loyal companionship and love will never be forgotten...he was one of a kind.
