Bandit Greenawalt

Our thoughts go out to Tina and Dan Greenawalt on the death of Bandit their beloved black and white long haired cat.  Bandit was adopted at 15 days old after the neighbor's feral cat had kittens.  The neighbor delivered adorable Bandit in a giant cage.  He was just a little fur ball in that cage and hard to resist so Dan gave his approval and the two became a bonded pair.  Bandit only liked 3 people: Dan, Tina and Dr. Jones from Gettysburg Animal Hospital who would always ask, "How is my boy?"  When Bandit first came to his forever home he meet Lucky, the Greenawalt's cat of nine years.  At first Lucky was not to crazy about Bandit, but within about a year and a half the two grew to love each other and sweet Bandit would share his treats with his feline pal.  Bandit loved to play with crinkled up paper and the foil from candy bars.  When the power ball commercial came on Bandit would come running at the sound of the music and would follow the bouncing red ball completely entranced.  It was all quite comical.  Bandit also enjoyed the "bummy song and the happy song" and had special tail movements that would accompany the songs that Tina sang.   Bandit learned these fancy dance moves from watching Lucky do her rattlesnake tail moves.   Bandit and Tina also had a nightly ritual of of brushing which Bandit loved.  Bandit was a finicky eater and preferred Fancy Feast tuna and trout flavor.  This became a bit of a challenge during Covid and the Greenawalts traveled to all of the grocery stores in Fredrick to meet Bandit's culinary demands.  Pepperoni, hot dog, and salami were also favorites of Bandits.  This very treasured member of the family will be missed so much.
