Our thoughts go to the Betts family on the death of Bailey, their nearly 13 year old Beagle. Adopted as a puppy, Chad originally thought that Bailey would be a rabbit hunting dog with him, but Becky thought he would be better to snuggle with. He was quite the snuggler, often crying on the couch until someone would come and sit with him. He would wait patiently by Becky and Chad's feet at dinner for a little morsel to come to him. He was affectionately named the "vacuum cleaner" because he loved food. He knew exactly the time it was supposed to eat and he would let them know with his not so quiet howl. He talked the most when he was hungry and wanted food. He loved rides in the truck and could not be let off of his lead or else he would run and wander. One time, he was missing for 4 days and the family searched and searched until they found him. He slept between Chad's legs at night and got up in the morning with him---his nails would click on the wood floors and then he would let them know that it was breakfast time. He was a fantastic member of the family and he will be greatly missed.
