Our thoughts go out to Juliana Swanson and Zachary Passmann on the death of their beloved cat Atlas. Altas was rescued from Dayton, Ohio on February 17, 2017 where he was found in a dangerous predicament on a cold, winters day. A lady was driving in a bad section of town when she heard meowing and pulled over. The sound was coming from under the car and low and behold a tiny Atlas was discovered in the rim of the tire. Juliana, who had only been living in Dayton for two months, pulled over to see if the lady in distress needed help and that is when she was made aware of this adorable kitten with a burnt head who was in need of care. Juliana took this sweet guy in and he was simply the best. He was named Atlas becasue it seemed due to his rough start in life, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. This calm feline loved to cuddle, sleep on Juliana, hang out in his Snickers box, give loving head butts and forehead kisses. Atlas enjoyed the company of his kitty siblings, Leo and Jasper, even thought they were more playful than he was. Atlas was a perfect gentleman and never knocked things over. This gentle sweetheart of a cat will be forever loved and missed.
