Our thoughts go out to Joy Meushaw-Holler and family on the death of Ramsay, their 12 year old Chow. Joy was talked into looking at puppies by a friend. Not even remotely wanting another dog she went anyway. As Joy was sitting down a puppy came over and put his paw on her knee and looked right into her eyes. Well she was sold. Ramsay was Joy's dog through and through. He stayed by her side always and waited at the door patiently for her when she wasn't home. Ramsay was so loyal to Joy that when her husband would grab the leash to go for a walk Ramsay did nothing. But when Joy got the leash Ramsay couldn't wait to go. Codorus was the place of choice for their walks. Ramsay preferred the cold weather, loving the snow. He hated being hot with all that thick beautiful black fur. Joy knows that at the Rainbow Bridge there is a spot with clouds that is not too hot. That's where Ramsay will be, relaxing in the shade patiently waiting to see his mom once again.
