Our thoughts go to Justin Slusser on the death of Hoyt, his nearly 12 year old boxer. Adopted when he was a puppy, Hoyt was named after the bows that Justin's dad would hunt with prior to his death. Justin found a unique and special bond with Hoyt and Hoyt soon became a "daddy's boy." They were "partners in crime" and wherever Justin went, Hoyt would be there. He slept with him, he ate with him, he went in the car with him...Hoyt was Justin's guardian angel. Justin treated Hoyt like a human; talked to him like any other friend, ate meals together and played together...and Hoyt especially loved the laser. Hoyt was the father to 3 puppies, one of which--Triton-- stayed in the home with them. They shared everything and he was a calm, sweet spirit that will be missed so very much.
