Cammie Newman

Our thoughts go out to the Newman family on the death of Cammie, their beloved 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier. Adopted from a farm in Littlestown, Cammie was part of an accidental litter! Her mother was 10 and the owners didn't plan on breeding her, but the father got loose and out came 3 miracle pups! Shalena chose Cammie because of her coloring, but did later regret not getting her brother too..although Cammie did have a Jack Russell sister from a different family along the years. Cammie adored her family and never strayed to far from them. She enjoyed vacationing with them, having only been kenneled once for a wedding and specifically their favorite spot was the Outer Banks. Cammie loved to destroy toys and specifically tear out the stuffing to get to the squeaker, often digesting it and getting sick..resulting in having her toys go rather quickly!! She also loved bones..but not eating them, hiding them! You could often find her sticking one in between the couch cushions or in another fitting spot. Cammie and her human sister had a 'love/hate' relationship due to her loving to pick on Cammie..mom would warn her to "Stop tormenting Cammie", and next thing you know..she would nip..her sister never really learning her lesson. Cammie also adored spending time with Pappy & Gigi who often watched her when Michael and Shalena were out of town. A wonderful addition to the Newman's furever family, well trained, such a good girl..Cammie will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
