Snuggles Wetzel

Our thoughts go out to the Wetzel family on the death of Snuggles, their 16 year old beloved Dachshund. He was brought into the Wetzel family when Cody was two-and-a-half years old and, while a "family" dog, they shared a special relationship. Of course they would, for they grew up together, slept together, chased lasers, birds, lawn mowers and occasionally snagged a ride on the four wheeler. Caleb also grew up with Snuggles; they raced with each other, danced together, and administered ear rubs to Snuggles. While it may be that Snuggles had  great deal of energy with all of that chasing, he also had a softer, still side to him: in the fostering Wetzel household, Snuggles was a nurturing, calming and welcoming presence to their animal visitors. Oh, you were special, Snuggles, and you will be missed greatly.
