Misty Sowers

Our thoughts go out to Edward and Doris Sowers on the death of Misty, their 17 year old Dachshund.  Misty was a sweet, tiny gal but she had a big bark, a big personality and a big life.  She enjoyed sleeping on her bed which was often placed on the dashboard of the car.  From this special spot she could take in her surroundings and soak in the sun.  Misty would ride around in her basket on the "senior citizen" 3 wheel bike that the Sowers took camping.  The minute Edward would pick up a book or newspaper Misty would hop up and demand his attention.  Misty was half blind but she knew her way around the cookie jar which she would race to when she came in from outside.  She only had a stub of a tail due to having a cyst removed but she would wag that "little sucker" when Daddy had a cookie.  Misty was a smart girl who knew how to shake hands with her tiny paw, but was never completely housebroken and was very particular about her potty areas.  The Sowers treasure every second they had with Misty and will miss her dearly.
