Rascal Dickman Tribute

Our thoughts go to the Dickman family on the death of Rascal, their Cockapoo.  Nearly 15 years ago Richard brought home an adorable puppy from Vinnie's Bow Wow Shop. This little black ball of fur was aptly named Rascal. Rascal immediately bonded with Andrea and remained her loyal companion throughout her life.  Rascal had a mind of his own.  It was Rascal's way or no way.  Rascal was happiest when he was digging in the woods.  He would be MIA and return home with a brown nose and brown paws or Andrea would discover his little black tail peaking out from a gopher hole.  These actions resulted in a spray from the hose in an effort to clean Rascal up.  Rascal despised this consequence from his digging but he just couldn't resist.  Though Richard was the one who brought Rascal into the household, Rascal disobeyed Richards every command.  If Richard planted a tree Rascal was certain to dig it up!    Andrea is not sure if Rascal learned his naughty ways from Boo Boo, his predecessor and also a Cockapoo, or if that is just the nature of the breed.  Though Rascal was mischievous, he was Andrea's little shadow and brought her  a lot of laughs and a lot of joy.  He probably got away with so much because he was so darn cute with his little, black curls that resembled those of a teddy bear.  Rascal adored the snow and Andrea is pleased that Rascal got to enjoy the snow fall that we finally got last week.  Andrea, Ally, Amelia and the entire Dickman family will forever miss and always treasure their sweet Rascal and are comforted that he will join Richard on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
