Brenda Storeman

Our thoughts go to the Storeman family on the death of Brenda, their belgian malinois.  The following is their tribute: "Brenda, a belgian malinois, was our adopted daughter for 1 1/2 years, after retiring from drug detection police work for 12 years, recovering over $10 million dollars of drugs and sniffing over 1000 vehicles. She spent her retirement being spoiled on the couch, in the yard and sleeping between us every night, and loved to give kisses. We got to spoil her for 2 birthdays by taking her to Dairy Queen for ice cream and then to Petco for a new toy.  She loved chasing balls and catching frisbees but she never learned the "drop it" command. We were told when we adopted her that everyone was afraid of her, she had a fierce reputation at work, but she quickly learned how to just be a dog in our house, with the help of her german shepherd step sister Aika, teaching her to bark at everything and also from Blitz the cat. Brenda loved car rides and barked every time you pulled out, assuming probably she was going to work. Brenda loved to eat broccoli(had to be cooked) and Middlesworth bbq chips. She will be missed tremendously and it was a privilege to have been able to give her the retirement she so well deserved, and as hard as it was to say goodbye, we know she deserved to go in peace and will forever be in our hearts."
